Adblock makes us sad

Hi there! Well I finally got the pop-up that everyone is getting. Been here two months and this is the first time. Not a happy camper:angry: I'm also experiencing a little lag. Not serious but did notice it! Anyway I'll live with it. Not much choice. I love this forum and I know the adds make money and keep the place running. Wondering if there could be too adds many when it starts interfering with the members ability to be active and participate on the forum!:wink:

Been accessing the site using Firefox w/uBolock Origin disabled for the past week and some, started out working OK but now back to its atrocious behaviour. Pages slow to load, browser freezing constantly, erratic scrolling, delays in my text appearing when typing in message box and so on, no real issues with pop-ups other than when blocker is enabled and that "Adblock makes us sad" appears. Top that off with several areas within Mobile Nations now being defunct on PC & mobile, apps included. Still can't understand why they are the "WORST" site to access on the web, bad enough coming here in hopes of resolving an issue then encountering this.:angry:

Oh ya, enabled uBlock Origin again, couldn't stand the pain any more. :wink:

Hi friends IMHO it has to be the servers. Otherwise you would have this same problem on other help sites. Don't get mad staff. Get glad. We are only trying to help. If new members and guests get these things, the forum won't grow MHO! I never saw any of these issues until this week! I'm sure this ain't easy to fix, but it's very serious!

Hey guys! Some times it takes this old man awhile to wake up. I just remembered one important thing I have, that I bet you don't have. I have used it for years.

OK ... I don't want to puposefully make anyone sad so I disabled the uBlock Origin on this site.
I navigate to the New Posts section and I have just clicked on the first post that I'm interested in.

and ... VIOLA! :


...HORSESPIT!! Covered the entire screen. Made me angry and said to myself, "F***it.
...I'll take a short hiatus ... *sigh*
