add features to 8.1

Ive just been to check for updates, and I noticed a link on the left which says, "Add features to windows 8.1", which I clicked on. Then I get a screen which says:

Make sure you enter the new product key you purchased to add features and not the one that came with your pc or current copy of windows

Does this mean that I have to buy a product key? :eck: I must be missing something, surely, as this is a new sp3....

Add features is to upgrade from Windows 8.1 to Windows 8.1 Pro, if you want to purchase the Pro Pack that includes Windows Media Center.

Out of curiosity I checked as well and mine did the same thing. Mine is showing Windows 8.1 Pro and that it is activated. Interesting...

If you already have 8.1 Pro then the add features menu will allow you to purchase a key or enter a key for Windows Media Center. Windows Media Center basically turns a windows PC into a DVR. The WMC feature costs $9.99.
