After a couple weeks, files(pictures and music) duplicated

I sent my 822 to my girlfriend with some music and photos loaded onto it on an SD card, and after 2-3 weeks or so, all of the sudden the files such as albums and photos duplicated everywhere. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
