I have a related (I think..) problem. Hotspot kicks clients out when the screen turns off...

1) Turn phone off

2) Press power
button until it vibrates

3) Push volume down
button until the screen shows an exclamation mark

4) Now do the
following combination

Volume
Up>Volume Down>Power>Volume Down
