Skype will be integrated with the OS on WP8.

No it won't. It will be a separate app albeit with deep integration into the OS once installed. That is at least the promise from Microsoft, we have to see how it works out in real life. But it won't be a part of the OS.

Microsoft never said they would keep Skype from developing for other platforms. And Skype would be foolish to not offer a competitive product against FaceTime.
