It appears that to get it you had to have done the French dev ROM thing for getting Amber. If you did that, then go to the "check for updates" part and check.

JMShub are you on French/Amber or Preview??? I was told French ROM made it more like a Nexus devices in that first to update??

I get an error 80188309 the update cannot be opened. I am from India and my brother has an 820 he got his updated fine.

I had french but got a dev account and updated to GDR3 Preview, not sure if that made a difference, I may have just been early in the roll out

do you go to Wash U?

How big is the update ?.. planning to download it over my 3G connection in India

You cannot download it on 3g you need a wifi connection as updates require wifi. And the update might be somewhere around 250-350mb. But beware I am getting error 80188309 so if you have unlimited broadband then you might want to have a go as I have already wasted 1 gig trying several times.

Can someone confirm me if Viber push notification works after Black update? They stopped working for me after I installed GDR3 preview, so i went back to Amber. So i am curious if i update to Black, will they stop working again? Thanks.
