Android and iOS expose your photos to third party apps; Windows Phone in the clear?

There's been a lot of negative news towards iOS and Android recently, but nothing on Windows Phone. Is Windows Phone's share too small to get hit with bad PR? Or are we looking at the superior OS?

I want to say with Windows Phone the app will call out that it requires access to the music and video library... Or the camera. So WP may be in the clear.

With a .4% market share, it may be the former.

Although I bet the press would love to expose Microsoft for (more) security breaches...
