Thanks to whoever reads this,

So I'm trying to find a RM-938 phone or Lumia 1520.3. Reason: I live in Canada and I'm with a network that only supports 1700/2100 frequency, I love my plan and I have no intention on moving to another carrier. So my question is, is there a website or eBay listing that can help me with getting the RM-938, there was a post that I read earlier but all the websites are expired and are no longer used or no longer have the RM-938 type.

All help is appreciated.

Thank you

I live just outside Calgary and bought mine from bhphotovideo.com. It's a store in New York but they ship to Canada. Or are you interested in a used one? Mine is white and a great phone but I'm thinking of switching to a 730 so I can use the dual SIM.

offtopic: so, whats up with the black 1520.3 being discontinued.. anyone know if thats just a B&H thing or did microsoft kill it?
I also just noticed that black was discontinued at b&h. It was in stock last week. I have an order in for a white one and the web site went from expected delivery of Dec 8th to Dec 15th.

Seeing that the 1030 just got leaked maybe their gearing up for a 1530? :)

Since it is the holiday season B&H has extended their return policy until Feb 1st so if the 1530 comes out or is announced before then I'm safe. If it does not get released until later next year then I will use my available upgrade on AT&T for it :D

I've recently seen an ad at tronicltd dot tictail dot com. It shows for what appears to be $249.99 USD. Site looks a little sketchy. I was curious if anyone has used the site/purchased from them?

I want that phone to and I?m in Canada to. I've checked with tronicltd.tictail.com but they do not ship in Canada. But the price is so low it look like a trick...

And on B&H the white and yellow one the expected available date is always pushed back since September and black on is dead.

Then anywhere else to get that phone?

For what its worth, I think I've found a way to get the AT&T version to work by re-enabling the band in Field Test mode. I had a White backordered from B&H, but finally got sick of the delays so just cancelled my order. Had an opportunity to get an AT&T version for work, and got it unlocked. However, I do not live in the re-farmed area, so can't 100% confirm it connects (but no reason to believe it wouldn't)

Not sure where else to get it. The good news is the longer I wait the more money I'll have saved for its replacement.

I have my eye on this phone as well. Anyone know if the tronicltd website is legit? that's probably the cheapest i've seen the 1520.3

The only other time I saw a 1520 online less than B&H it was actually an RM-937. A fine variant, but made for the Euro market and lacking North American LTE compatibility. It was about $395.

To get an actual 1520.3 for $250, it most likely is refurbished stock. Who did the refurbishing is the question? I mean there just is no way any retailer is going to charge 1/2 the going rate for Genuine BNIB merchandise.

You have to ask yourself; what is the catch?

Excellent point. I'll have to look into this if i do decide to put money into it. Thanks!

You could also, potentially, get an unlocked AT&T 1520 on something like Swappa. My 1520 has LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 17 and 17 and you can re-enable the 1700mhz HSPA bad in field test mode (at least on mine). 16gb and no QI are the big issues

Recently noticed B&H changed the expected ship date from Dec 8th to the 15th and now back to the 10th :straight:
