Apps compatible with wp8.1

yes all the apps developed/coded for windows phone will work on wp8.1 , it was the same case when windows phone 8 was released all the wp7 apps worked very well without any problems on wp8
yes , Microsoft is digging hard for windows phone 8.1 with new API for dev. Like screen recording , etc. wp8.1 apps will not work on wp8 , but wp8 apps will work on wp8.1
