So I picked up a new Asus ME400CL Tablet two days ago which came with Windows 8. I spent the last two days installing update after update and now have it to the latest version of Windows 8.1.

The problem is that I still don't have the W10 icon on my taskbar to allow me to reserve W10 for my tablet. I have W10 on my PC, my Notebook and my Lumia 930, and I have it on my computer at work + reserved W10 on my co-workers Win7 Laptop..... I can't figure out what's going on with my tablet though.

If anybody can help, I would really appreciate it.

While reinstalling Windows 7 on my home PC there were no updates after the initial set of updates but after a couple of days the Windows 10 reserve app popped up automatically. Looks like MS is checking the genuine keys/activations before pushing out the update. Give it a few more days.

I have 2 of the ASUS ME400C Vivotab Smart tablets. I was able to reserve Win10 and had the MS button on the taskbar, however, when the time came to install the OS, MS said that Win10 could not be installed because Intel has refused to update the Intel Graphic Media Accelerator.

You can still perform a manual upgrade using the ISO. The Windows 7/8.1 driver for the GMA HD works as expected on W10. There is also another driver through Windows Update.
