Ativ S with GDR2 doesn't recognize SD-card

I have an Ativ S with GDR2 and after 'removing the sd-card' in Settings, it doesn't recognize it anymore even after re-boot (I have also tried soft-reset with the button combination).

Is this a GDR2 bug or something? Seems like the only solution left is hard reset :(

Does a camera or something else recognize it ?
Not a GDR2 specific issue.

Not necessarily related, but since the GDR2 update, my phone has difficulty booting with an SD Card inserted (it tends to crash and attempts to boot and reboot several times before it finally succeeds). And PB_H, it may not be a GDR2 issue, but a hardware issue with the ATIV S.

Try to backup the sd card contents, insert the sd card and format it using the phone setting and then see if it works.

Or use your PC, and format to FAT32 and deselect 'quick format'. That always works but will take awhile

Thanks formatting helped, recovered some files with a program and am good to go now.
