Audiobooks in iTunes and Windows Phone 8

Hey forum folks.
I have a dozen or so iTunes-purchased audio books and am trying to figure out a way to listen to them on my Lumia 1020. I've done some searching, but all the information I've found is out of date or requires for-pay DRM removal software. I've considered repurchasing some of these books with Audible, but they get very expensive, very fast. It would be cheaper to buy an iPod nano and listen to them that way!

Has anyone found a way to get audiobooks out of iTunes and on to Windows Phone 8?

Audiobook on windows phone is a BIG BIG BIG PROBLEM.

Why cant Nokia or Microsoft fix it ?

Try ElAudioBooks. It should be able to play m4b as well as mp3. Directly from file system.
