Backordered Status?

First of all, I've ordered this on the 1st day of the Pre-Order and while I was placing the order, it was NO WHERE indicated to me either on the web site or ATT rep that the product is not available anymore and it back ordered. They should know their inventory and their systems. That is AT&T. I was communicated about the back order via an automated email that does not give me any indication of when it's availability or shipping info. So when I call up ATT sales or customer support or Product Specialist, etc, etc, etc (a zillion other places they've transferred me to) no one had any clue what that email meant and could locate my order. And this is AT&T Exclusive product with a massive launch planned and they do not even have any clue to respond to the customer pre-ordered product questions.

And you think I'm being a Nancy...

how come everyone else on this site knows this info that is illusive only to you? When we pre ordered it told you shipping on the 5th for a delivery on the sixth. There are multiple AT&T employees that are members here and they all confirmed. Yet you come on here with your bs anti AT&T rant. preconceived notions of bad customer service and the inability to see the info all around you makes you seem like a nancy yes.

alright guys. i got some good news. i talked to three different at&t reps (two supervisors) and all of them told me that whoever pre-ordered lumia 900 will get it on 6th (everyones getting overnight shipping via fedex). emails with tracking numbers soon to go out later this evening/tonight. and again everyone who pre-ordered this phone WILL GET it on the 6th of april!!

Thank you for clarification it seems some need their hands held

First I want to remind everyone that insulting other members in the forums is against forums rules if you do that you could get a warning or even be banned form the forums so don't do that.

I live and work close to ATC Logistics in Fort Worth this is the building where all our phones will ship from. The way I understand it will work is the devices will ship starting late tonight or tomorrow morning next day delivery is included with all devices shipped. All preorders will ship before the stores get any devices. Everyone calm down.

I love crowd panic at times it defines our world.

That has nothing to do with customer service. When something is on back order there is no way to approximate shipping. You knew what you were getting into when you pre ordered. Stop being a Nancy and blaming At&t for your impatience

I've seen Apple and Android Fanboys, this the first time I'm seeing an AT&T one. Huh well, I guess there is a first time for everything.

umm read above man. AT&T employees leaving info. Plus when I ordered my emails all told me and others the dates. I'm not a ****** of anything, I just find it silly that people blame AT&T or anything for that matter when the knowledge is out there. Even if a persons CSR didnt tell them that info being a member on here everyone has relayed the same thing for pre orders shipping on the 5th delivery on the 6th.

I must add that this new information seems to correlate exactly with the initial email we got from at&t. So, in other words, nothing really has changed.

I'm a devout Christian and I am in no way offended brother God bless! PS My card is still pending you sure yours went through and isnt in pending status?

Every one has their own experience. I for for one did not get an email with specific ship date, but got a back-ordered follow up email. I ordered mine in store.

so then your rep did a sh!te job so you should go into that store and talk to a manager and explain you had to get the info from a forum because his employee sucked. Maybe you can get a free case or something. In the end you can't blame all AT&T for a crappy CSR.
