Battery life - Win 10 Tech Preview for Phones

With my 1520 update to win 10 the battery draining is so fast do something for that plz even half day is not able to keep charge

Lumia 1520 is getting very hot near the camera when using it do somethin for that and battery draining is fast than 8.1

I finally sorted my L620 battery life.

It was cortana that was eating my standby battery and after disabling it there is 1-3% per hour of "drain", as with cortana on it was 6-8%. In 8.1 it was fine with cortana on, around 2-3% so must be an issue with current WP10 app.

Hope they sort it out asap as I am used to cortana and it doesnt seem right to have her disabled

Worse on the 830. Used to be able to make it all day with plenty to spare. Now I need to recharge to get through the day. Standby seems normal, but if I'm actually using things it goes down quick on W10.

925 lasts perhaps 18 hrs. but I would say closer to 12.

that's sitting on my table doing nothing (backup phone)

lumia 920, phone isnt going on for more than 6 hours. 61% battery being used by the screen display.

Batery life? Terrible. If I pull out a few hours of usage, that's amazing. I used to pull off a day EASY with max-max brightness, now, a few hours max. Lumia 1520 unlocked.
BTW the screen is using like 90%.

well, i reported it through the feedback..

and i have lumia 930, windows 8.1 (last update) i could go for from 05am to 22pm next day...

to i have to be lucky if its holds, more than 8 hours, and dont burn a hole in my pocket.. damn my phone gets hot :S

1520 8.1 two days. With 10, it drains within 8 hours. Not usable. Had to revert.

I can't really post anything definitive because I'm not running 10 on my daily driver. On my 822 running (without a sim) battery life is not as good as 8.1. But it is better than any of the previous builds I've tried.

Yes on 820 it is slightly better. 1520 just heats up unnecessarily.

My baterry life was running good in the past 12hrs but after the preview in l730 the battery percent get down faster

.log out Skype and check background allowed apps. Then, chech if Store has got pending apps

On Lumia 640 with WP8.1 i get 2 days of battery usage. And I was very proud of my phone. After upgrade to WP 10, battery last somewhere about 15 hours. And also I don't like new navigation app. Lack of voice navigation, and not that precise. All this was very disappointing for me. And after two days of usage WP 10, I roll down to WP 8.1, and I km very happy again with my phone. And will stay here until Microsoft resolve battery drain problem.
