I'm currently using a Lumia 900 and will be switching to Verizon in August. I'm excited by the Lumia 928, but I've read online about a lot of Bluetooth issues with Windows Phone 8. Specifically many people using Uvo with Kia.

Does anyone have a Kia (I have a 2012 Optima Hybrid without GPS) and a Windows Phone 8 device? Does it work correctly - read text messages, contact info imported properly, Nokia Drive work, streaming music?

The only issue I have with my 900 is that the turn-by-turn of Nokia Drive doesn't work unless I have the stereo set to Phone (if I'm listening to the radio, I can't hear the nav). I'm hoping I get at least the same integration.

Thanks in advance.

928 is an old device. If you're talking august 2017 it will be even older.

Windows Phone 8 is also a dead OS. We're on Windows 10 now.

I would recommend upgrading to a device built for windows 10. Definitely do not waste your upgrade going to a windows phone 8 device.
