Bose QC25 with Android cable on Windows Phone 10 devices?

Hello. I recently bought a pair of Bose QuietComfort 25 which I know have an android friendly cable, with mic and volume buttons. As far as I know, even with this cable the mic does not work on lumias. I was wondering if this is an hardware problem or a software problem and, in the latter case, if this will be solved by the upcoming windows phone 10 devices

are your button working? (well if mic don't works, prob buttons doesnt' works too)
your headphone have 2 version, 1 for apple and 1 for android, the 2 last pin on the plug is reversed.
i've made my own 3 button remote (minus mic because i can't buy one and don't need to) and it work ok.
