Bought a surface pro 2 from US

Hi guys. I've just bought a surface pro 2 from America and was wondering if it would be safe to charge it using a standard US to UK travel adaptor (13A 230V ). UK charger costs quite a bit and a voltage converter would set me back at least ?15. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

It should say on the charger if it is 110-120, 220-240 volts or both. Read the label to check. Most chargers are universal and can handle both but check to make sure.

Np now you just need the normal socket adapter. I would get a good one as you don't want it to melt on you. I had bad experience with those!
