Hi!

Starting with 14279, Cortana was enabled in my language (French Canada). The current slow ring version is 14295 but it's buggy.

Is there any way to get 14279 specifically?

Thank you!

No, that's not possible, unfortunately. You can get only the build that has been released in a particular ring or stay with the public release build which is 10586.164. How nice it would have been if we could get official installation images for W10M builds like we get ISOs for PC builds

Yeah that would have been nice. Oh well, back to production for now and I'll wait for Cortana! Thanks :)

it would be nice but not every build version have official iso. and i heard that we can get the "image" of w10m by using windows device recovery tool. we can find the downloaded image in certain folder in wdrt.

Yes, but many builds, which have been released to both rings, have had ISOs also released simultaneously. And if not official then still the ESDs of most preview builds are available to download from various trustable sources on the internet which can be easily converted to ISO using ESD decryptors.

In case of mobile, even if you get the image, there's no known way to flash it manually. Nokia's recovery suite is an option but you need more than just the installation image and the suite supports only Lumia 830 as the latest one. Moreover, the WP8.1 images are FFU images. Does W10M have the same? Don't know. So, practically, it's not possible to manually install W10M using image files unlike the very very easy way to do it with W10 for PCs.
