Cannot access intranet by server name

I connected to company network (WiFi, WPA2 ent).

I can access intranet website via http://servername/, on ios, android, etc..

But on my windows phone 8, i cannot access the site via http://servername/, instead i have to type the IP address or use http://servername.company.com.

Anyone has similar issues? :devil:

That strange it should be able to unless it missing something IE.

Maybe WP8.1 with IE11 may resolve the issue.
