Cannot Stop Following Notifications

I read the thread in site help and videos, I had previously (on old style forum) went to the box that reported likes and quotes, etc., and deleted the threads I was following. Yet I continue to receive email notifications from a thread's activity. I have also gone into my profile and there are none there.

How can they be stopped? It is only one thread and I expect sooner or later people will stop posting in it, but for future reference.....

It's odd because I've changed my Follows many times and not experienced this. Sounds like you did everything correctly.

When you made the change can you clarify if it was on the old style forum... or that was when you always had success and now this time you changed on the new style and it failed?

How were you viewing when you made the change? Mobile? PC? App? Browser? Which app or browser?

Is there any link in the email notification to unsubscribe?

It was on the old forum, top left where it would say 1 new like, 1 new quote, etc., I selected the things there and deleted them, I understood that to be the way to stop following a thread.

I was in Edge on my PC. I cannot find an email, go figure, I deleted them all and didn't get a new one today!! LOL! It was the first time I had done it but decided I had read enough.

IDK.

But if it comes back save the email, the header may be important and we can get Tech looking at this.

I got another today and it had an unsubscribe link in it so we shall see if I finally squashed it.
