Whenever I try to download apps larger than 100MB from store it shows waiting for wifi. When I try to download maps it shows a warning that says I am on a metered connection, even when I haven't set the limit on the data settings and I have unlimited data plan. But i can download large maps after I agree to download on mobile data. I know i should download large apps on wifi but i still want to be able to do this on my cellular network. Help me.

I also noticed this. I don't have unlimited but I have enough (20GB a month). I hate having to wait for WiFi just to update some store apps or update the phone.

But I have heard it is possible. It seems that the problem is my phone cannot recognise my connection as unmetered.

I'm not sure where you heard it, but I have been following these forums for quite a while and the only work around that I have seen is with a mobile hotspot.

I have probably read here at windows central sometimes back that they have finally lift the cellular download limit from store on w10m and I even remember a screen shot showing downloading a large game on a 3G network. But it seems you are right, it never worked. Thanks for replying everyone.
