"Can't edit workbook" solutions?

I've downloaded a 5.0MB Excel file from SkyDrive to my phone but once it's opened I get the message "can't edit workbook". The file was created in Excel 2007 and is an .xlsx file.

I can edit the file in Excel on my computer so it is not read-only. The other weird thing is that I've used the same templet (which is now also locked) twice before and not had any problems editing the files created from it.

Any suggestions about solutions?

I am guessing here. I had an excel time card in the past that I used to edit with my Palm Treo Pro running Windows Mobile 6.1

Have you tried renaming it with "save as" and then tried editing the "save as" copy?
