can't enter pin cos no buttons shown

My 930 is on slow insider and has just updated. Slide the screen and get 'enter pin' but no buttons to press.
Tried reboot, tried hard reboot.
The top left corner of the screen shows a tiny icon that looks like a simcard with a no entry sign. Not seen that before. Tried removing and reinserting sim.

Any suggestions?

to begin with your device isnt supported by microsoft for the insider builds, but you have managed to tweak a few settings and get the builds. So by your issue i assume you are on insider fast build, 14926, the issue you are facing at present has a single solution which is hard resetting your device.

further, let us know what build you are on?

Apologies, it is a 930.

I assume that you mean a 'plug it into a PC and revert to Windows 8' rather than a two button hard reset, which I have tried.
