can't unlink contact from facebook

I have some contacts on my phone that somehow were linked to facebook contacts so now when the person calls me his facebook nikename and photo appears. how can I disable this link? I have tried to unmark facebook contacts but it didnt work.

Just go to the contact and use the link/unlink icon at the bottom of the screen. Then you can unlink the facebook details from that contact.

Delete your facebook account under settings>emails>facebook

Unfortunately that will delete everything linked to your facebook account unless you have the app

Jazzmataz provided you with the right instructions. You can unlink individual accounts, open the contact and press the button.

However normally the linked accounts get the name from your address book, so any linked contact should display the name you wrote. Are you sure your friend hasnt put up he's number up to facebook, the accounts are not linked and the name gets pulled from Facebook?
