Happened to be watching Johnny Carson on night when Mel Tillis was a guest. He was a favorite of Johnny's.

At the time he and Johnny owned V-Tailed Bonanza airplanes. Mel was telling the story of coming into Teterboro airport in N. New Jersey. In his best stutter he said that before he could ask for landing instructions in NJ, he was in Boston. Johnny, myself and untold numbers of watchers fell on the floor laughing. My best Mel Tillis memory.

Long time Sportscaster **** Enberg died on 12/21/2017. He was famous for saying "OH MY" after an exciting play in whatever sport he was covering. I personally will miss his style and grace.
