Cleaning the contacts?

Hi all,

My charging contacts are getting dirty from the hot weather coupled with workouts.
What are people using to clean the contacts?

It is affecting chargings / synching to PC, kinda reminds me of having to clean video game cartridges back in the day.

Use a lightly saturated cloth with rubbing alcohol and rub it. Try not to get the alcohol on the area outside the metal contact.

Then as the alcohol residue is still there quickly rub the gold contact points off with a pencil eraser. Then wipe off any debris from the eraser. That should do it well.

I have just used a cotton bud so far.

Cheers, I am using cotton bud so far.It helps but doesn't clean totally, will look into the alcohol method for a better clean.
