Colorful Windows Phones patent?

I know everyone is digging the colorful options for upcoming Windows Phones. Any chance Microsoft might have learned a lesson from Apple and patented the idea for colorful phones in order to make it platform exclusive? Maybe colors aren't something that can be patented, but based on Apple patents might not be surprised...

but seriously the fact that every OEM makes phone more then one colour this wouldn't pass

and its not very possible to patent a colour lol.

I like colors. It gives Windows Phone an identity, as that OS with the colorful phones.
