Cortana in the UK again what's the official line on this

Thanks but I got in first and signed up about half hour ago, phone has done two downloads and installs and Cortana is now awaiting my commands :wink:

And the phone just went on it's third update, I will get to play with it sometime tonight but I have to get up at 4am so can't stay up for more than another hour.

You could have always just changed the region and language to us. It gives American search results sometimes but if you're on 8.1 it works without dp...

Tried that last night, couldn't cope with the US News, US spelling and she couldn't cope with my accent, and I was going to post this elsewhere but here goes.

I was prepared to be underwhelmed by Cortana, how wrong can you be, it's fantastic sent some texts all correct, tried "Cortana play Walls and Bridges" and the album plays, tried a few searches, and I am sure there is a lot more she can do, shame I have to get up for work in six hours so time for bed for me.

And I love stacking tiles, so sorry about the next bit.

Happy waiting or why not join the developers preview, it cuts out the middle man (The carriers).

Can't wait for Cortana on my laptop and Surface Pro

Should have done this sooner hehe, no more waiting! - Like the folders and Cortana. With Windows 10 going to be available on all Lumia devices I cant wait for that update.
