I almost bought the Alcatel today cause it has w10. I'll wait till the end of next week. If no windows 10 I'm buying it
yes ua right....now it shows the windows 10 lockscreen.....but any ideas when will the upgrade for blu will be rolled out??So Blu is dropping some serious hints.... Windows Series - that banner pic, WAS NOT the Pic on there when I bought the phone.
Nope... I'm going to pretend I know and say next week Tuesday.yes ua right....now it shows the windows 10 lockscreen.....but any ideas when will the upgrade for blu will be rolled out??
any news on the windows 10 mobile rollout for blu win hd lte??
29th is still the rumored date. However if it is I'd say Blu about 2 weeks after
Microsoft said the Lumia Mexico was wrong with that date, so I would just ignore it
My HD LTE is boxed and ready to ship...
I moved to Lumia 640 for a backup. I'm running Insider Release Preview (10586.107)and enjoying it. Had the phone a week, had W10M 6 days and using it for my daily. Shakedown cruise is going very well.
I still peek in here. If BLU pushes W10M out to this device I'll upgrade it. It would be interesting to see 10 on a 3rd party OEM.
If you are going to quote me at least quote exactly what I said. I said "possibly around the corner" and that's based on my own estimation. I didn't claim to know the exact release date. Facts were different 12 or even 6 months ago. A lot happened since.
A suggested launch does not mean it WILL be launched with the time frame given. There are only three things that are certain. You are born, you pay taxes, you die."around the corner..." optimism misplaced. 12 months on from original announcement, nearly 6 months on from first suggested launch. It is a bit like the donkey being led by a carrot, always out of reach, as was always probably intended.

I maybe wide of the mark here, but...maybe things have slowed due to the somewhat unexpected uptake by OEM's. I would guess that these manufacturers, who somewhat surprisingly took on a so called 'dead' platform, have had a large hand in testing as well, along with those who have invested in 10 mobile release devices. The latest insider build, .107, is pretty close, just needing some spit and polish. The new Redstone branch has been pretty good on second build.
I have discovered that, with age, comes patience, and good things come to those who wait. I'm no programmer, but I would imagine that offering the OS for free to older devices takes more than a couple of lines of code.
And finally, posted via Windows Central app using a 950xl, running 10 mobile, not android ;-)
