Cricket and Lumia 640

Since I broke my Lumia 1520 (Ugh) and I refuse to take a htc one m8 windows(if I am going to downgrade may as well downgrade and stick with lumia), I am looking at the 640 and 535.

One thing that does bother me is the...Sigh, Cricket branding on the back. I know that sounds bad but I really don't want people to know I use cricket haha,.

More importantly, speaking of cricket....I'd be concerned about updates. Updates for the lumia line on Att are usually decently done(excluding Denim) but this is not just att but an mvno/prepaid carrier associated with cricket.....

Are cricket good at updating their phones? I seem to remember there being some hold-up for Lumia 620 owners on AIO(now known as cricket). I think they are still stuck on black(and if that is true, poor things).

Im not sure if this helps but, ATT is getting the 640xl (idk about just the 640), but if you get that then you'll avoid cricket branding and att out of all the carriers has been the best at updating Lumia's.. Verizon, and tmobile have both lagged at updates more than ATT ever has..

That is true. I just wish I knew WHEN...and I know as soon as I order the cricket one or SE or whatever, they'll announce it lol.

If branding is on the back just order a new back cover without the cricket branding
