December 10 (Patch Tuesday!)

Should take less time to charge I'm assuming.

And im pretty sure they fix the nvidia drivers from crashing when they fixed the issue with screen dimming.

Well so far I've got some good results! I haven't had a screen crash since the update, and I can now put my Surface to sleep by closing my Type Cover, without it freezing.

As a sidenote I didn't get the firmware update in the first update round, I had to search again.. so make sure you do an extra search! :)

Also it seems that there was a lot of different driverupdates in this firmware update, including NVIDIA drivers and type and touch cover drivers:

Thankfully, I have not experienced any problems (thus far, at least) with the updates - both to my Surface 2 and to the Surface RT that a family member has. In fact, if anything, apps seem to open and close faster than what they used to before the update (applicable to the Surface 2 only). But this could be just a placebo effect and I am imagining things. I am now testing - under real life conditions - if the updates made any battery improvements (though such optimizations were not openly stated as being part of the updates).

Tho i still seem to get the KernelLiveEvent 141 error in the event log! Anyone else still plauged by this? And do you know what it is related to?
