Deleted in Skydrive but appear in Picture Hub

Hi folks,

It's been days so dont tell me to wait for syncing or something
A pic folder I've deleted in Skydrive still appear in the Picture Hub, although it's empty now. How do I get rid of it? I don't understand!

The SkyDrive integration in WP8 is buggy. It can even cause reboots. Renaming your SkyDrive folders can help, but if you rename often your SkyDrive folders will disappear from the pictures hub. Which then also eliminates related reboots. It seems that aps that can access your picture library do so over the picture hub, ouch if you have no data connection!

My issue is that I finally went through my pictures on my Skydrive and cleaned them up, creating folders, and moving pictures around. The folders showed up in the albums on my phone, but no thumbnails.

Short of doing a phone reset (which I know will correct the issue), any ideas?

The only pictures that sync from my camera album to my skydrive are the new ones I take. Those that I copy to that folder via usb on my pc don't sync to skydrive. My goal was to get them all in the camera album so that they would show on the pictures live tile. Other albums that sync from skydrive don't seem to show on the pictures live tile (having them flip through the photos on the home screen).

I also did a clean up in Skydrive. Now I have an album showing in WP8 with photos and thumbnails that appear for seconds and then disappear. I cannot delete them because I get the message that there is a problem, that I might be accessing someone else's folder with incorrect permissions. I have deleted the folder in skydrive and I want to do the same in WP8. A soft reset did NOT fix it for me. Any Help out there?

So are the photos in Camera Roll the only ones that cycle through the Photos "slideshow" on the start screen? I would like other albums/photos to show up.

Well! I couldn't find a way around that either. So, I simply switched off the live tile option:winktongue:

Have you tried a phone restart? That always help me in similar situations.

This problem is somehow tied to the account and doesn't go away even when hardware is changed. I have this problem and it started with my first lumia 920. I've had another 920 and now a 1520 and the deleted folders still show up in my photos hub.

i had the same problem just now. couldn't get rid of some photos allthough deleted them from the recycle bin in skydrive. tried resetting my phone... nothing. then i set skydrive to not upload my photos anymore, and they finally disapeared. i turned upload back on and they are still gone. maybe i was lucky, but you should try this to. good luck

You can delete that folder in the "Pictures" folder by connecting your device to a PC
