I already have my old active Vodafone sim.. so just confirming. need new sim to activate offer or old sim is sufficient? ??

Well you don't have to do anything! Just insert Vodafone sim in sim1 and within 4 days you will receive 1gb 3G data.
I inserted Airtel sim first but in sim2.

I don't think so!! You can insert it any sim slot! I just said that cuz that retailer told me ! And yes both Sims provides 3G and I can switch between them

But I am not able to use 3g in Vodafone which is inserted in the second sim slot. When i switch the data connection to sim2 , it shows only E(2g). I have 1gb 3 data for two months in Vodafone,still.

Ok ..i tried it and so its confirmed..
You can insert the vodafone sim in any sim slot.
After that, do not call the customer care or any1 as it would'nt help.
Just wait, and you would get the message frm vodafone itself, that ur offer has been activated.
While waiting, do not buy any data plan. Thats it enjoy!!!!

Guys, my offer had been activated but Vodafone instead gave me 2g pack. I went to Vodafone store and have registered a complain. My Vodafone sim is in second sim slot. Any Suggestions guys?

I have it activated as 3g. Placed the sim in sim1 slot. Not too sure if its related to sim slot. Btw, did you make sure to turn on 3g option for Vodafone under cellular+sim settings?

Ofcourse. I checked my plan and it shows 2g plan and not 3g. Can you check your plan and tell me if it shows 3g or 2g?
