Do you want to elaborate on your L920 and 8x comparison?

While I cannot answer for Smg-Uk, I can provide my thoughts as to why I consider the 8X better than the 920 - for my personal uses.

1. From what we know about the devices, I believe the 8X may have better ergonomics for one-handed use, or at least be more comfortable to hold. I still use my smartphone for voice quite a bit, especially with my current position where I often need to forward calls from my IP office phone to my mobile.

2. I'm a heavy Skype user, so the wide-angle, HD FFC is something that is certainly going to be a plus in favour of the 8X.

3. It's common for me to play music through the phone's speaker, and while Beats Audio may not help with Baroque or Jazz, it certainly will with many of the other genres I listen to.

4. As the father of an 18 month old who won't hold still, the quick shutter speeds do help when I want to catch that "OMG he just did something cute, I've got to send a pic to his grandma" moment. We have a mini DSLR for the planned outings, but we need a quick camera for those spontaneous moments.

This is by far the best phone I've ever owned.. That's all I have to say!!
