With WP 8.1 the multimedia messages MMS has never worked in my country (M?xico-Telcel) due to the weird (different) settings compared with iOS or android...
I want to know if with windows 10 mobile that settings change

Considering 8.1's APN settings for data and MMS are standard like everything else (like Android and maybe iOS, certainly other phones), probably not.

What's weird about them? The settings matched up decently with any APN stuff I tried for some MVNOs.

Since WP10, even previous build, MMS doesn't work for me anymore. Is there a way to fix this? I tried entering the carrier's API but didn't work...

Nope, if you take an android smartphone and go to MMS settings it asks you for different things than windows phone mms APN asks you for... In my country windows phones can't connect to TELCEL GPRS for MMS due to that weird settings, for example, android ask for proxy settings, windows phone don't

Yes, but it also ask me for a MMSC URL besides proxy url, and the settings of android do not ask you for that

Also, android specifies, windows phone only ask for proxy and port... when other OS's have: proxy, port, MMS proxy and MMS port

These are my CARRIER SETTINGS for MMS:

Name: Telcel: Mensajes Multimedia
APN: mms.itelcel.com
Proxy: <Dejar vac?o>
Port: <Dejar vac?o>
Username: mmsgprs
Password: mmsgprs2003
Server: <Dejar vac?o>
MMSC: http://mms.itelcel.com/servlets/mms
Proxy MMS: 148.233.151.240
Port MMS: 8080
MCC: 334
MNC: 020
Autent. protocol: PAP

So i should try the same thing, except with my carrier settings? So far i've tried to enter my cousin's setting for MMS, but it doesn't work on WP10, and he is using 8.1. I'm just scared if i mess up even the celluar won't work anymore... Can this happen?

If you're concerned about messing up the data apn settings then make sure you note them down before changing them. Again cellular settings are editable and can be changed in case you mess it up. Just make sure you know what you are changing.

So just to add to this. Does anyone know the full MMS/APN settings for Three UK? Whenever I update to the latest build messaging and calls are fine, but I have no mobile data. Done hard resets but to no avail. When I try and use a browser, I get the message screen from Three UK saying "Are you using your device as a mobile HotSpot?" Which I'm not. Had the same issue with the previus build. Not sure if there is an issue with the build or my carrier.

Thank you, that's what I've been trying, but I can't see it edit internet APN (those options are disabled) even so, internet works perfectly, the APN settings for MMS are the same that I tried (along with many others), but none seams to work... Always there's an error while trying to send the image from messages app... :( even the carpet technicians couldn't help me... Is so weird, windows phone 8 with access point worked fine, but since 8.1 don't... :\

There must be something going wrong with it somewhere. Maybe an issue with certain networks. Ive tried manually inputting the APN setting provided by ThreeUK. Still nothing. Back to 8.1

If windows 10: Settings - network - cellular - sim - properties : That's where the settings are for apn and mms
For me the apn that came with the sim cannot be deleted but you can add one
