Dust-free yet?

There was a thread some time back stating Nokia acknowledged a design flaw that let dust into the FFC and proximity sensor on the 920. I believe a Nokia representative also stated the manufacturing process was modified to correct the flaw.

Does anyone know of the Lumias now on shelves are the "dust-free" version? Is there a way to tell (e.g., different hardware version or some marking on the device's box)?

Thanks.

Propably not. Nokia has likely already taken the 920 EoL on the production side. Honestly I don't find it much of an issue. I get dust in my FFC once in a while. It always works itself out though.

I thought it was just a new gasket. I don't think that would warrant a model number change. I also do not think it would be anything you'd be able to tell by looking at a box on the shelf or even once you've taken the phone out.

I don't use my FFC enough to care, but I can tell stuff does get in there.
