DVD Ripper

Hi there. I would like to rip some DVD's that I have so that I can watch them on my Lumia 630.

I would appreciate some suggestions of software that I could use for the task (On the desktop obviously) . There is a lot of crap out there and I don't want to dload some random app that fills my computer with malware.

What apps are you using to rip DVDs?

Handbrake seems to be a popular choice. Been a while since I've used it though.

I tried Handbrake. It seems to have an issue ripping shop bought movies. Some copy protection nonsense. It turns out that the ever trusty VLC does a fine job of DVD ripping. It does take a long time though. Kind of dampened my enthusiasm for the idea...
