Where are gmail downloads stored? So I downloaded a PDF attachment from an email using the GMAIL app and while I can open it using Adobe PDF reader, I can't seem to locate where it actually lives on my device. None of the file managers I have can find it in downloads or documents.

Any ideas?

It is stored in Adobe Reader's isolated storage and there's no way you can access it. A way is to set up an Adobe.com account (it is present in the homepage of the app) and then you can upload your files there. It is a very bad trick adopted by Adobe. BTW, you can now DOWNLOAD ATTACHMENTS from IE in WP8.1 to your Downloads folder and then copy it anywhere. Try using Aerize Explorer for WP8.1

If you want to save PDF to your local folders install Pocket File Manager, then, when you receive a new eMail with a PDF file, just tap the attached PDF icon and select Pocket File Manager, the app will save the file in their isolated storage and you can move the file to Documents folder.

Will surely check it out! Never knew about that feature.
