Employee Discount with AT&T Shared Plan?

Does anyone know how an existing employee discount is applied to the new At&T shared plan? I was thinking of switching, but it really depends on how the discount is applied. If it only applies to the $35 for my smartphone, then it will raise my bill a couple dollars, if it is applied to the $90, then it would lower my bill. I'm assuming it is the former, because it will raise my bill, in that case I'm just going to stick with what I have. But it would be nice to have tethering...thanks in advance.

No...I get a 15% employee discount through my current employer, and I am wondering how it is applied to the new shared plan. I know on my current plan it is only applied to the main voice plan.
