On a W10 PC, languages can be individually attached to a keyboard layout of your choice.
I am Belgian, French-speaking and use Belgian French keyboard layout -
When writing, I can select the language/keyboard I want to use (e.g. US English with be.fr keyboard - as you can see on screenshot below).

On my phone (a Lumia 950), I can't get a similar result.
Languages seems to be hard-linked to a specific keyboard layout -
See below attempt to switch to US English with be.fr keyboard:

Dictionary switches from French to English, great but Keybaord layout from AZERTY to QWERTY too

Here are the definition of keyboards but there is apparently no way to link languages and keyboards.

Any idea?

I am on W10M 10.0.14322.1000

I can't believe the French still insist with Frenchify anything!
Keyboard, language programmin, Windows
End OT
 Your are perfectly right -
I could cope with plain English display interface without any problem.
The issue is keyboard - I am so used to a AZERTY one, that switching to a QWERTY is really a p***
Are you using Qwerty when typing English?

In Italy we are uniformed to int'l standards since 60's (first home and office computer of history Olivetti Programma 101), so everyone is used to qwerty, computer, file, hard disk, print, if then, etc., not le ordinateur, le file, le disc dure, imprimee, porqua alor bien XD
