Even "handyscan" app takes sharper pictures then default camera app on Lumia 920

This was my first shot from Lumia 920 before the Portico update, and to me, it looks sharp enough. IDK why there's so many people having these blurry issues...

Close ups (macro) are very good on my phone too. Somehow I have problem with portraits in low lights. Pictures of friends on parties, not good. In this thread, first photo of terminator is taken when holding phone in my hand, last one I used some vase as a tripod, but in real life, I never do that, I just shoot from my hand, like all of my friends do

tested 2 days, perfectly fine with the camera... not perfect but very very good point and shoot camera. my problem with my camera before is: everybody has a phone with a camera which is OK for daylight so if I hang out with friends or family, we can use any phone, but none of them can take low light which happens more often. that why I need L920

For short distance photos you must enable Macro mode. Handyscan is tuned for close shooting(documents) among other things, that's why it gets better results. You can learn more here: Default Camera vs Handyscan / news & blog forum / JDB Pocketware
