Every time I plug in my Windows phone into my Desktop (Win 7) I get a prompt.

I don't know where else to ask this, but I just got my Windows Phone today (Nokia Lumia 1020) and every time I plug it into my desktop it get a control panel pop-up that asks me to download the Windows Phone App so that I can sync my files.

Does anyone know how to disable this? It gets a bit irritating.

Nevermind! It's called device stage and I was able to disable it under Auto Play in the control panel. Leaving this up so that if anyone else runs into this issue they'll be able to find it.
