Finally!! Lumia 1520 RM-938 for sale!! BUT...

Went back to AT&T after work today. They tried the SIM in their demo device and it came up LTE so they worked a little magic with how the SIM was assigned to my service account and all is well with LTE! Now, I'm going to carefully apply 8.1, making sure tethering and LTE still work. If not, I'm happy enough to go back to 8.0 GDR3.

Received my unicorn today 😃 Unfortunately I have to go to work now so will spend more time on it this evening. I just unboxed it and turned it on for the first time.

I noticed a tiny gap at the bottom of the screen, is that normal?

That's the microphone slot.

totally a scam the put paypal and credit card on the page, but in the check out there is no option than Western union and 2 others, last week i send them an email and im still waiting for the answer !!! On eBay there is only RM-937, i already got one and he work good but it is only a quadband, i want the pentaband LTE with the 2 others frequency i need !!! So anybody find others good deals for the RM-938 ???

I placed my order through Newegg on Sunday then I get an email saying they're out of stock. What kind of data would I get with the 937 on T-Mobile?

Don't do it. You would be stuck with 2G & 3G only. I should know since I had one. Just wait like I did and as soon as its available from NewEgg or NegriElectronics you pounce.

That trick has been around for a while and it was first used on the Lumia 900 I think.

The problem is that being a South American model, it had the Spanish keyboard already in place by default! :(

What I read is that if you uninstall and then reinstall the spanish keyboard, the trick can still work. Have you tried that yet?

Here is the difference in model numbers.

Nokia Lumia 1520
What i know and not sure about is as follow:

1- RM-937, Global version, LTE 800 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600, 32GB, built in wireless charging.

2- RM-938, US version, LTE 700 / 850 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600, 32GB, built in wireless charging.

3- RM-939, China version, WCDMA HSPA+ version, No LTE.

4- RM-940, at&t version, LTE 700 / 850 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100, 16GB, No wireless charging built in.

Is the internet sharing working OK with your unlimited plan? I'm thinking about going with the RM-938 rather than getting into another contract with AT&T. I don't want to go through the hassle and expense of ordering just to get rejected by AT&T when I try to use the internet share.

Yes, internet sharing is working without any issues... I have share it to other devices recently to see world cup games online. By the way, I did not get any new contract with them, just the sim card :)

Hi All,

After installing the update, I loose internet sharing. I have tried with the language trick, but it has not work so far... anyone facing the same issue?
