I cant see why they can make me leave my 3k dollar alienware labtop it outclasses any of these tablets in a heart beat. I mean the i7 tablet is still 2k and you can buy a asus labtop for 1600 and it would destroy these tablets. I like microsoft but they are turning into a company were you pay for the name more then the product.

You always pay more for a smaller form factor. Has always been this way. Look at Sony in their hay day thier slim line performer was always 1800 or more while their bulkier consumer model was $900. You pay for convenience(obviously sad) and from factor. Look at the Fujitsu q its almost $2300 and its not a slim line.

As far as those complaining about the price "for a tablet" there is a world of difference between a "tablet" and a tablet PC which is what the sp3 is. A iPad or a kindle fire is a tablet sp3 pro is a tablet PC. One is an oversized phone essentially. The other is PC. With all the capabilities that come with it.
