Freezing Lumia after update 8.1

I dont know if am the only one experiencing this madness on my lumia 720 or others too? After I updated my phone to window 8.1, I have been having steady constant frozen screen. I have done everything possible to solve this challenge to no avail. The only solution is to wait till my battery drains out. Then charge it again. It happens twice a day. Please ig there is any possible solution help guys.

A soft reset of a phone should save you draining the battery be simply restarting the phone. Bing for 720 soft reset.

Obviously the phone shouldn't lock up though.
