this app seems to work on my Icon: shows time (permanently) on "lock" screen (must be activated by touching a live tile, but does appears to suppress the screen timeout and wakes with double-tap. not sure yet about battery impact, but yum...

I tried this app today. it drains the battery pretty fast. maybe if you set it on the lowest brightness, it'd be okay (but then it looks kind of ugly).

It was neat to use though. You can see the weather and updates and of course the time/date.

yeah, I just did a test and it burned 10% of battery in one hour, just sitting there on my desk. oh well. I guess it's useful for leaving on your nightstand as a clock if you want that.

at least
