Hi all.

Is anybody having issues with image retention from the glance screen?

When charging the phone the default behaviour is to keep the glance screen on. However, I have found that the screen is marked by a ghost of the glance information when I remove my 830 from the charger. Its very noticeable on grey colours (especially the keyboard/passcode buttons).

It disappears after a couple of hours though.

I have changed the settings to be 'peak' only, and have turned off the 'on when charging' option, and haven't noticed the ghost image again, but that's because the glance screen is only on for 30s at a time.

I just thought it was odd behaviour for an LCD screen, oled screens are usually much more likely to have this issue.

Has anybody else noticed this on your Lumia 830?

meh, LCD's are susceptible to it as well, in fact I've honestly had more lcd devices with burn in issues then I have with Oled, to put it bluntly, every screen type is susceptible to screen retentnion if an image is displayed on it long enough.

I personally have not had this issue. My glance is set to peek, and I keep it green at all times (set your night mode to green, and set it to be on from say, 12:am to 11:59pm and it will stay colored except for one min. a day. wonder if that may help you.
