hall of fame, what devices do you think should be listed ?

The 3210 and 3310 should be in there. I remember back in the day everyone had one one of those phones. Then people would buy the different faceplates for them and see which one looked the best.

Palm VII
Palm V
USRobotics Pilot 1000
Fossil Wrist PDA (take that Galaxy Gear!)
original Palm Pre (aka Pre Minus)
Motorola RAZR V3
Motorola StarTAC
Motorola ROKR E1
HTC TyTN II/Kaiser
Nexus One

you could maybe argue the Handspring Treo 600

just something more fleshed out from how i see it

I love this thread....

I feel so behind the times. I only owned one Windows Mobile phone- the Samsung Blackjack. It belongs on the Wall of Shame- turned me back to Feature Phones for another 8 months and away from Samsung and Windows for a couple years.

But, I will say the Nokia 900- changed the game. Showed the mobile world what a WP could be, should how Nokia intended to set itself apart, and put WP front and center in some amusing commercials ("You mean... I was a phone tester??), and pushed Nokia ahead of HTC and Sammy for good as a WP manufacturer.

Sony Ericsson 8X my first smartphone and want a brilliant phone it was, which had my favorite version of android 2.1 ?clair.

What fun I had with that device....

Is it just me or were the old old phones built more solid than those of today (you could smash rocks with a Nokia 3310, it would survive being thrown in pools, dropped in toilets) also if I'm not mistaken, did the old old phones have far greater battery life compared to the phones of today, why a 3310 could last many many days with a tiny little battery, as I played SPACE IMPACT constantly and completed it several times like a hardcore gamer, the laser strikes were powerful against bosses....as for snake....I never lasted too long.

Forget my first post, this thread is open to all platforms and devices. As they are awesome and deserve some recognition. (editing that post now)

I owned and used a saygem or sagem, (flip phone with 128 colour screen) can't remember exactly what its called...but I could game on that thing the whole day without having to ever think about battery...makes you wonder if mobile technology is really going forward ?

I'd also like to add the HTC sensation XL, for Android it is the smoothest and responsive you can get. It's also very comfortable in the hand.
