Hi so I enrolled to the insider privilege (Sad mistake) for my L1320. And I got the 10586.29 build update showing on my phone. I changed my mind on updating . How do I get rid of this update showing up? Will a Hard Reset fix it.? Current using 8.1 denim.

Yes.. Only hard reset is the option... But this build works super amazing on my Lumia 1320

If you've installed Win10M already, hard reset won't take you back to 8.1.
You'll need to use the Recovery Tool to get back to that. You might have to check for updates for Denim after using the tool cos I'm not sure you'll be on Denim directly.

I haven't updated to Win10M. Still on denim. Just thw update is showing for me coz I ;) went and signed up for insiders and then changed my mind on updating lol

Did this myself once, you can't stop that update from happening, the recovery tool is your only option.Im not sure about a hard reset,I would say it should work, but can't be sure

Uninstalling the Insider app (like some are suggesting) may/may not fix it. But Recovery tool surely will. You may want to back up first though.

You have to hard reset it, or the update will install itself eventually.

It won't take you more than 30-40mins to reset it.
