Has Metromail stopped working for W8.1 phones?

I used the app for several years; recently, although it received ok, it stopped opening mail & gave "error" msg. Could still send. I un- & re-installed but now cannot access Gmail at all; "error" msg & blank screen. :unhappy:

I faced with the same problem on my Nokia 1520 with W10 Mobile.
So the reason is not in W8.1.
Asked the developer of Metromail by e-mail but get no answer for two weeks...

Yes, the app stopped working and now at the start prints a message that outdated version of the app is running and should be updated from app store. Windows app store doesn't have new version available.

Sorry slow reply, I stopped using this forum as it is painfully slow to load with our glitchy internet connection! I think too many adverts trying to load?
Anyway, I believe for various reasons, Metromail is no longer supported by it's developer if you check it out. Pity as it was a good app. Now removed from phone. Am now using Gmail (I think!) can't work out how to get details of the actual app off my phone, as not showing in "my apps" anyway it works.
